Pastor Wale Adefarasin is the General Overseer of Guiding Light Assembly, with headquarters located in Lagos, Nigeria. He is also the author of The Succession Crisis in Nigeria. Pastor Wale and Olaolu Adefarasin are parents to 3 children and are blessed with 2 grand-children.

Pastor Laolu Adefarasin is a pastor in Guiding Light Assembly. She is the wife of Pastor Wale Adefarasin, the General Overseer of the ministry.
She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1981 and practiced briefly with the law firm of Impey & Coker.
After she was called into full time ministry, Pastor Laolu by the direction of the Holy Spirit started Morning Glory, a ministry for women every Tuesday morning at 7am, which has been going on for the past twenty years. The ministry has a mandate to pray for Nigeria, children, families, ministries and individual lives.
She also leads OASIS, the GLA women’s Ministry, which convenes colloquiums, retreats and other activities which help women to deal with real life issues especially those peculiar to women.
She is a Chair on the board of IPWF (Interdenominational Pastor’s Wife Forum) also on the Board of trustees of Woodhall Capital Foundation.
Her marriage is blessed with 3 lovely children and two beautiful grandchildren.

Pastor Nduka Samuel Okoro
PASTOR
Pastor Sam, as he is fondly called in Christian circles, is a teacher of the Word of God and Senior Associate Pastor, Guiding Light Assembly (GLA), Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos. He has served under Pastor Wale Adefarasin, General Overseer, GLA, as a pastor for thirty-one years, having been ordained and commissioned a pastor on the 2nd of August 1992.
Pastor Sam combined his work as head of Information Technology in a bank with his ministry as a pastor until he responded to the Lord’s call to full time pastoral ministry on the 6th of April 1995.
His pastoral responsibilities in GLA include, amongst others, preparing couples for marriage, helping married couples find solutions to their marital challenges, ministering to singles, preparing teaching materials, counselling and teaching.
Pastor Sam was instrumental in the development of the baptismal class, foundation class and the fellowship group teaching materials as well as the implementation of the discipleship classes in Guiding Light Assembly.
His teaching ministry, passion for believer’s growth and for stable, successful and satisfactory marriages have taken him beyond GLA to other ministries and churches within and outside the country.

Pastor Ademola Ademuson

Dr Jacob Ademola Gboyega Ademuson was born on the 17th of July 1959 in the city of Ibadan.
He had is college education at the prestigious Government College Ibadan and obtained the A-levels from School of Basic Studies, Ibadan Polytechnic. Graduated in 1981 as a Dental Surgeon from The College of Medicine, University of Lagos.
He has been a private Dental Practitioner and Principal at DEGASON Dental Clinics, Ikoyi, Lagos for close to 40years noW.
He is blessed with Dr Enitan Ademuson as wife and 4 children.
He got born again on March 27, 1994 at the Annual Convention of Guiding Light Assembly, Ikoyi, the Church where he has been nurtured and discipled.
Graduating from the Foundation Class, he served in various departments such as the Outreach-Follow up, Protocol, Pastoral Care, Prayer and Intercession.
In 1995, he had the privilege of the call to the office of Pastor at Guiding Light Assembly, Ikoyi. He has served briefly as Resident Pastor and as pastor in charge in various ministries, such as Prayer, Intercession and Men's Fellowship of the Church.
Being very passionate to see Christians validate their faith in God, he is an Encourager, Motivator and Mentor to many. He has a passion to know and promote Yeshua as the ultimate Truth, searching and researching His person, teachings and Will for His Church.
He is a devoted family man, an avid Chess player, he loves gardening, cooking and writing. Enjoys and follows the game of Tennis.

Oluwadamilola Emmanuel is currently the Pastor, overseeing the Light House, Ikoyi.
He was also one of the Youth Pastors of the Ignite Fellowship. He has been in Guiding Light Assembly since 2008 serving in various departments with various functions such as Ushering, Foundation Class, Discipleship Class, Youth Ministry and even the early days of Counting Money after Sunday Servivce.
Oluwadamilola Emmanuel is also the General Manager of Lagos State Waterways Authority. He has been there since 2015 transforming the water transportation sector in Lagos State.
He has a strong passion to see Jesus exalted in His Church and in the lives of people. He loves to dance and loves to worship God recklessly.

Michael Oyewo is a practicing Medical Doctor, and a member of the pastoral team at Guiding Light Assembly. Having been an active member of the church since his teenage years, he harbours a profound passion for facilitating the empowerment and realisation of individuals' God-given talents and abilities. Within the congregation, He is one of the pioneer ministers of the Ignite fellowship and additionally assumes responsibility for overseeing the Foundation, Discipleship, Leadership School, and Economic Entrepreneurship units of Guiding Light Assembly

Adeolu Adefarasin is a part of the pastorate at Guiding Light Assembly who is passionate to see young people have life changing encounters with God and be instilled with Godly values and Christlike character. Adeolu serves as the Pastor of the Church Ministry and the leads Ignite, the young adult ministry of Guiding Light Assembly.
